Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

This policy explains how 90N (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the 90N app, the Ballpark+ app and the 90n.app website (together, the “Services”). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you have a question, email hello@bpsg.com.au.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), password (stored by our sign-in provider, never by us in readable form) and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the details those services share with us.

Athlete profile (90N). Date of birth, gender, playing position, throwing and hitting side, hometown, height and weight (optional), the academy, camp or club you belong to, and a parent or guardian's name and contact details.

Health information (90N, optional). When registering for an academy, a parent may tell us about prior injuries, medications, a regular GP and other health practitioners. This is sensitive information. We only collect it with consent and only use it to keep the athlete safe at camps and sessions.

Performance results (90N). Test results you record yourself, results a coach records at a camp, coach ratings and notes, and when each was recorded.

Camera tests. When you run a camera test (for example push-ups, sit-ups or swing speed), the video is analysed on your device to count reps or estimate speed. We do not record, store or upload the video. Only the result is saved.

Fan activity (Ballpark+). Your favourite club, tickets linked to your account (from your club's ticketing provider), ticket check-ins, reward points and offers, trivia and game entries, arcade scores, referral codes, marketplace listings and orders, and photos you submit to photo challenges.

Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Photos. A profile photo, if you add one.

Location. If you allow it, your approximate location to show venue maps and directions. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.

Device and usage information. Your device type, operating system, app version, push notification token and basic technical logs we use to fix problems.

Communications. Messages you send us, and whether you open or click our marketing emails.

2. How we use it

  • To create and run your account and sign you in.
  • To record, chart and compare performance results, including showing how an athlete compares with others in the same age group.
  • To manage camp and event-day registrations and check-ins.
  • To show tickets, credit reward points and run games, offers and seat upgrade draws.
  • To process orders and payments.
  • To send notifications and reminders you have chosen to receive, and marketing emails if you have agreed to them.
  • To provide support, keep the Services secure and prevent misuse.
  • To improve the Services, using information that does not identify you where possible.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising.

3. Children and young athletes

Many 90N athletes are under 18. A parent or guardian should set up and manage an account for an athlete under 16, and by doing so consents to us collecting and using the athlete's information as described in this policy. Athletes aged 16 or 17 may use the Services with a parent or guardian's permission.

Parents and guardians can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time by emailing hello@bpsg.com.au. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13 in a country where that requires verified parental consent without first obtaining it. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

4. Who we share it with

  • Your academy, club and coaches. Coaches and administrators of an academy or camp an athlete is registered with can see that athlete's profile, results and check-in status. A fan's club can see ticket and reward activity at its own games.
  • Other users, only where it is part of a feature. Leaderboards show a display name and photo. On stadium big screens you appear anonymously unless you choose to show your name. Age-group comparisons only ever show other athletes as anonymous figures.
  • Service providers who run parts of the Services for us under contract: sign-in (Clerk), database and hosting (Convex, Vercel), email (Resend), text messages (Twilio), push notifications (Expo), payments (Stripe), ticketing (your club's ticketing provider, such as vivenu), and an AI service that writes plain-English explanations of player statistics (it receives statistics only, never your personal information).
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of any person.

5. Overseas storage

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Security and retention

Information is encrypted in transit and stored with providers that use industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

We keep information for as long as your account is open and as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account we delete or de-identify your personal information, except records we must keep by law (for example payment records).

7. Your choices

  • Update your profile in the app at any time.
  • Choose which notifications you receive in the app, or turn them off in your device settings.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
  • Turn camera, photo and location access on or off in your device settings.
  • Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@bpsg.com.au.

8. Deleting your account

Email hello@bpsg.com.au from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. A parent or guardian can request deletion for their child's athlete profile the same way.

We will confirm the request and delete the account and its personal information within 30 days, including test results, health information, reward points and photos, except records we are required to keep by law. Deleting an account cannot be undone.

9. Questions and complaints

Contact us at hello@bpsg.com.au. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make a significant change we will tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
